Tims Ford Dam is not releasing water again until 6pm today, so if you can, get down to the Elk! This is a beautiful day to fish, and the fish have not seen a lot of pressure recently. Coupled with the fact that it was just stocked on Nov. 4th, you are in for a great afternoon of fishing. I would prospect with a wooly bugger, and that may be the only fly you’ll need if you can get dialed in with your retrieve. if that doesnt work, break out the midges and soft hackles.
