The long days of mid-summer have sure settled in lately, and the heat sure feels like it’s here to stay too. This is the perfect time to schedule a session to learn the basics of fly fishing and even chase your first fly-caught fish! Lessons are taught right here in town starting with gear introduction and basic fly casting on the grass. It generally takes around 1-2 hours before we are ready to move into the river and start presenting flies to the fish. There really isn’t a much better way to spend a summer afternoon that enjoying some time on the water. The biggest risk involved is the fact that you will more than likely be addicted after this introductory lesson!

$40 per hour

Things you need to bring:

-Sandals/water shoes

-Sunscreen

-Valid TN fishing license if you would like to try for your first fish
